Queens Fashion Week Spring 2011, presents the second installation of it's biannual Fashion Week events.
QFW is a series of fashion and networking events that shine a spotlight on the trendy goods and services available in Queens, and it's surrounding areas. As one of the most diverse communities in the nation, Queens offers a wealth of fashionable attractions and events.
QFW produces stunning fashion events that feature independent
designers, boutiques, celebrities, fashion executives and buyers.
In our debut season, QFW was featured in a two page, full color spread in the NY Daily News.
NY1, (Time Warner Cable's 24-hour news channel ), saw fashion gold and filmed an in-depth interview with the Queens Fashion Week Team.
This season QFW focuses on Queens and it's links to the world. From our two major international airports to our highly diverse communities - -

Spring Awakening is the QFW Gala opening runway show that will make you feel the wonder of Spring!. We will highlight six, fresh, cutting edge, Independent Designers, 30 gorgeous models and a hip new spacious venue. Come and experience the couture, ready to wear, boutique chic and one-of-a kind originals, created by some of Queens' brightest Designers.

Rebirth

Rebirth is the finale runway showcase that features another six fashion- forward trailblazers, who have come to, and through the borough of Queens all in the name of Fashion! This eclectic group of Designers create art wear jewelry, urban chic, couture, ready to wear and Plus Sized designs. We even have a fabulous Art to Wear Designer, coming all the way from London to do business with Queens! With all the scintillating fashion energy our Artists will have on offer- this is an event you should not miss.
