What's 'haute' about Queens? Well, plenty! This season Queens Fashion Week is getting down to business in the most stylish way possible. Staying true to our directive of 'shining a spotlight' onto the fashionable lifestyle' available throughout Queens, our Spring season will be full of the trendiest Independent Designers, industry professionals with some very
pleasant surprises!
This Spring we encourage you to venture out, meet and support the Fashion Industry professionals who live and work in your neighborhoods. From a 'Queens Chic' fashion event that will have you dancing in your seats, to boutique hotels, to Queens residents striking out in the name of fashion worldwide -Queens has it all! Each day a business will be featured on our website in the Queens Fashion Week Spotlight segment, from September 12th to the 17th. Then as the crowning glory of fashion in the borough, Queens Fashion Week will hold it's Runway Gala Event on Sunday, September 18th at
York Performing Arts Center. We can't wait to see you there!
The QFW Runway Gala Event pulls together all of the featured Fashion businesses from our Queens Fashion Week Spotlight, along with Buyers, Stylists, Make up Artists, Accessories Designers press, media, bloggers, Young Designers and Independent established Designers. Come spend an afternoon with us and luxuriate in 'haute' style as you are introduced to fresh and talented Designers, stunning models and exciting company. We'll feature an accessories showcase, visual art, couture designs, art-to-wear originals, urban chic, a Designer Trunk Sale and a home decor lounge for your viewing pleasure.
Please remember we do adhere to a strict dress code! Sunday Chic please. No jeans, sneakers or hoods.
